Scrollable Loot List when in proximity to multiple lootable objects
Implementations of this include Genshin Impact (a scrollable list of proximal objects) and Wasteland 3 (a loot menu of all area materials after a combat encounter), although the Genshin approach may be preferable here. This means that instead of having to look at an object to loot it, we can loot any neighboring object without having to turn. This may help with quick looting situations (for example, when taking a stealth approach)

irritablerodentYes, please! Right now, searching and looting is currently kinda fiddly. You have to jiggle the mouse/stick around to juggle between nearby interactive items. Consider implementing something like Divinty 2's active search (see image). Or as the op suggests, add nearby (unlocked) containers and loose objects to the list when you search and highlight them to indicate what's included.

MetzliI like that you need to target the item that you want to loot in this game. That said it is very difficult to "target" stacked items. Maybe just having a key to toggle between nearby lootable targets would be fine, instead of adding more menus or an entire new mechanic like from Divinity. Giving you a way to mass loot is pretty immersion breaking and removes some of the joy of finding rare/hidden items.

irritablerodentThat would defo help. It's probably the simplest way to ease this pain point.

SaikoYes it would be very helpful. Another similar example is in Fallout 76 with the "loot nearby corpses" feature, such a big QoL improvement. Right now in Weird West, I get into a weird routine whereby I'll toss already looted/ emptied bodies in one big heap just so I know I've done looting them. Otherwise, I'll have to keep running around checking if the body has been looted already or not

Metzli@Saiko Maybe they could just add some graphical marker or something to show you already looted a specific container. This should be fairly easy to implement.

laxibaGame need this so much. I've already lost 2 of those perk cards because they got burried between rocks after the dynamite explosion. '-'

Angel StewartI think I just made this same suggestion in a slightly different way. But yes, this is a serious problem right now.
