Posse and NPC "wait here" command
Sometimes I want members of my posse to stay in a certain location so that I can initiate a fight without risking them catching a stray bullet.
For example, I want to be able to tell the bounty hunter's partner "wait here" so that I can go and kill the final boss without risking him being killed.
Same with bounty hunter targets. I understand the reason you wouldn't be able to trust a captured target to stay still and not run, but if you have a posse member with you it would be nice to have the ability to tell them to "wait here" under the premise that they will guard that captured target. That way I don't have to immediately rush back to the town across the map to turn in a bounty target and can spend a little more time exploring the surroundings.

laxibaWe could have "Wait here" (To be safe), "Hold this position" (To cover you with long ranged guns like the rifle), "Follow me" (To walk an fight near you with medium weapons like pistols, revolvers or bows ) and "Engage them" (For Shotguns and melee weapons).

runnerblankJust having the ability to have them wait here while I stealth around and do not rush to me if I'm under attack would be nice.
That is stay here, stay hidden, and be passive until I come get you.
Some sort of a stay here, stay close, or rally here (stop chasing them) would be nice when your posse is rushing in to a mass of bad guys. -

NOT George ClooneySome simple commands for the player to control the posse would go a long way. The previous commentors already nailed it with "stay, come, passive, go to..."

AgileTurnip434I totally up vote this. I'm enjoying the game with the patch 1.02 improvements. Pretty satisfied as I manage to play stealth in many situations. However once I'm busted by the ennemies, the AI partners are always rushing the enemies. That prevents to run away.
